I started Scout after 16 years in the short let industry in London, working for 3 of the largest property management companies. Each taught me a huge amount and I am grateful for my time in London, however I wished for a more bespoke and personal service for the owners I looked after.

In 2026 I took a sabbatical which changed my life and I subsequently moved out of London. I now base myself between Kenya and the UK, and have a dedicated and trusted team of handymen, plumbers, electricians, pest controls, marble specialists, ‘re-upholsteris’ (etc) who form my little black book of contacts.

My passion is property and creating a sense of home whether they be tenants, guests or owners. My own little 2 bed loft conversion in Wandsworth is testament to how important it is to create a space people want to be. In the 9 years my sister and I have owned it it’s not been vacant once via a mix of long and short lets. On Airbnb it is rightly a ‘rare find’ and I am a Superhost. In this competitive market whether selling, letting or listing for short lets, it’s vital now to stand above the competition.
